2016 Schools Programme
June 16, 2016The best traditions never die
August 16, 2016The end of the school year sees the culmination of the Brick Lane Music Hall 2016 Schools Programme. This year we have been working with five local schools divided into six year groups over a six week period. Pictured above, Cleves Primary School’s final performance. Below, Vincent Hayes with this year’s team leader, Catherine Dennison, and Brick Lane Music Hall’s lighting and sound technician, Anthony Friggens.
This year’s show was “The Best of British”, with pupils enthusiastically performing songs from Tiptoe Through the Tulips to I Vow to Thee My Country, in celebration of the Queen’s 90th birthday year. Pictured below, the grand finale at Selwyn Primary School.
