Brick Lane Music Hall was featured in The Stage newspaper this week, under the headline:

The east London venue that’s kept variety alive

In celebration of our 25th Anniversary year, the article features an interview with Brick Lane Music Hall founder, Vincent Hayes, pictured below at the theatre’s original premises in Brick Lane in 1992.   https://www.thestage.co.uk/?s=brick+lane+music+hall

Nigel Ellacott, author of the definitive pantomime website it’s-behind-you.com, also marks Brick Lane Music Hall’s 25th Anniversary in his Green Room blog this week: https://ibygreenroom.wordpress.com/

Pictured above, one of our famous “backstage huddles” taken during the 25th Anniversary Showcase. Nigel Ellacott, far right, next to Vincent Hayes, with Anita Harris, far left, her husband Mike Margolis, centre, and next to Anita, Tom Owen, from Last of the Summer Wine. Joining casting director, Kate Plantin, was Derek Martin, formerly known as EastEnder’s Charlie Slater, with Andrew Ryan, Danny Lawton and Andrew Robley.

Brick Lane Music Hall continues its 25th year with an amazing programme of shows, including our marvelous wartime show and Showtime!, a new show celebrating the magic of the musicals, which have never been so popular, as well as music hall shows and Cockney-sing songs!

Next up – the Summertime Special, your last chance to experience some Brick Lane Music Hall magic before the summer break.
